About Us

JMH Farms has previously been raising Minature Zebu which are good for meat, milk, showing, 4-h, pets, and oxen. We recently decided to make the switch though early of 2020 to start raising Dexter instead for their better meat quality. We bought our first 3 Dexter heifers the beginning of May 2020 and bought our bull Thor the beginning of July of 2020. My husband and I are excited to be raising these wonderful little cows. We decided to make the switch because of their size and temperament better quality meat along with them being an all around purpose breed as well.
